Perfect location in the village:
Our apartments are situated in the south of the centre. This offers you 5 benefits.
First: All shops, restaurants, inns and pubs in the village-centre as well as official buildings like church, theatre, tourism association, post office, doctors and banks are easily to reach.
Secondly: In winter: You can reach the southern pistes by foot. The first ski-lift is just 150 metres away. In case of snow in the valley it is possible to reach our house by ski or toboggan. Both cross-country ski runs are in the immediate surrounding.
Thirdly: In summer: In the summer both the "Kapellenpark" with playground and the hiking trail to the "Marienkapelle" start directly above our guest-house. Tennis court, miniature golf and riding stable are reachable within a few minutes. The pavilion of the Golfclub Wilder Kaiser and the access to the 27 hole golf course is only 400 m apart. The swimming bath "Kaiserbad" as well as the Hartkaiser- and Astbergbahn are approx. 1km apart and reachable in a 10 minutes walk.
Fourthly: All evening activities of Ellmau like "Ellmauer Sommernacht", open-air-concert, village fête, wine festival, Skiing-night, Apres-Ski-event of the pubs in the centre are approx. 400m away and easily to reach by foot.
Fifthly: The southern part of the village is calm. In the north of Ellmau one of the most important routes (connection Innsbruck-Salzburg) passes.
