General Terms and Conditions

Reservations:
On receipt of your booking by e-mail, fax or letter and our confirmation of your booking by e-mail, fax or letter the booking shall be regarded as binding. If the downpayment is not made in time or if it is less than the required amount, we shall be entitled to cancel your booking.

Currencies:
All prices are quoted in Euro. No other currencies will be accepted.

Room prices:
All prices are quoted per person per day and include breakfast buffet and spa tax, based on 2 people sharing a room. Single room surcharge 50%. Reductions for a child are only available if at least 2 adults book a room.

Apartment prices:
The basic apartment price is quoted per day based on the minimum number of people for the apartment. Every additional person above the minimum number pays a surcharge. Spa tax and cleaning at the end of occupancy are charged in addition. The breakfast buffet is available to apartment guests, if required, on payment of an additional charge. The breakfast buffet can be cancelled by room and apartment guests up to 18:00 hours on the previous evening and cost will then be refunded by us. If the breakfast buffet is not used and has not been cancelled in time, there will be no refund.

Inclusive prices:
No refunds can be made for services which are included in the price, but not used. There will be no refund if services included in the price cannot be provided or can be provided only partially (e.g. due to adverse weather conditions, defects of mountain railways/cablecars, programme changes by the organiser). . .).

Credit cards:
Invoices can be paid in cash or by MAESTRO. Only MASTERCARD and VISA credit cards are accepted.

Cots:
On request, a cot can be provided in the room for children between 0 - 2 years of age on payment of a surcharge.

Morning roll service:
If you require fresh rolls for your breakfast, you must order these by 18:00 hours on the previous day.

Bathrobes:
Bathrobes can be borrowed from reception. Please return them the day before departure.

Smoking:
We would ask you not to smoke in the rooms and apartments. The person following you might be a non-smoker. There are ashtrays on the balconies and terraces. Smoking is not permitted in the breakfast room due to legal reasons. Smoking is permitted at the table next to the main entrance.

Pets:
Animals and pets are not permitted anywhere in the building due to consideration for the other guests.

Underground car park:
One space in the underground car park is available for each room or apartment free of charge. No refund will be given if this facility is not used.

Wellness Oasis:
The Wellness Oasis can be used in winter daily from 16:00 - 19:00 hours and in summer Mondays and Thursdays from 16:00 - 19:00 hours free of charge (with the exception of the sunbeds). On special arrangement, it is possible to use the Wellness Oasis for 2 hours outside the usual opening times for a minimum of 4 persons. Price per person 5 Euro (with the exception of the sunbeds).

Telephone:
All rooms and apartments have a direct dial telephone. Price per unit 0.25 Euros. Therefore, some phone calls will be cheaper via our phones than via your mobile phone. The mobile phones of foreign guests and pay-as-you-go phones attract particularly high roaming charges for local and domestic calls.

Internet:
If you bring your laptop with you, Internet access via a PIN code is available in all rooms and apartments. You can obtain this PIN from reception. Prices: 5 mins 0.50 Euro / 10 mins 0.75 Euro / 30 mins 1.25 Euro / 1 hour  2.25 Euros / 2 hours 4 Euros. The time purchased must be used in one session. It is not possible to split it over several sessions. An Internet terminal is available in the winter garden for guests without laptop. This is activated by the house key. Price: 1 Euro per 10 mins.

House key:
Our house keys are programmed for every guest. They contain an opening and payment function (drinks dispenser, Internet terminal, games console, tanning beds). If you lose your key, please report this immediately to reception so that it can be blocked. There will be no refund if anybody else has bought services with your key. Price per lost key: 8 Euros.

Arrival:
Please inform us of your approximate arrival time. This facilitates arrangements for room cleaning. Please let us know if your arrival will be delayed (accident, traffic jam). It is possible to arrive between 8 and 18:00 hours. Different arrival times are only possible by prior arrangement. If you arrive before 9:30 hours, you can purchase breakfast. You can move into your room or apartment once it has been cleaned. This will normally be by 15:00 hours at the latest. Arrival on days with a high traffic volume: The experience of our regular guests shows that it is useful to leave home during the night. You will then normally arrive in Ellmau without problems during the morning before traffic jams and accidents occur. Crockery, bed linen and towels are provided in the apartments.

Departure:
On the day of departure, the room has to be vacated by 10:00 hours so that it can be cleaned for the new guests.

Cancellation:
Cancellations sometimes happen and are unpleasant for guest and hotel. The following conditions apply: Up to 3 months before arrival: No cancellation fee. 3 months to 28 days before arrival: Apartment price for 3 days or room price for 3 days minus 2 Euro spa tax and minus 6 Euro for the breakfast buffet per person per day. 28 days to 1 day before arrival 100% of apartment price, 80% of room price for the complete stay without deductions for breakfast buffet or spa tax. The cancellation has to be made in writing by e-mail, fax or letter. The date of receipt of the cancellation by us decides the cancellation fee. If the guest does not arrive (without prior cancellation), arrives too late, departs too early or extends the holiday for any reason, the full price will be charged (all costs for bed, breakfast buffet, cleaning, spa tax). We therefore recommend that travel cancellation insurance is taken out. You can take out hotel cancellation insurance from the European Travel Insurance Service using your credit card at http://hotel.europaeische.at/plus?AGN=10012859 . If you do not have a credit card or do not want to use your credit card on the Internet, we can send you a payment slip for the European Travel Insurance Service by mail.

The right to change prices is reserved. We do not accept any liability resulting from omissions or inaccuracies. We cannot accept any responsibility for the correctness of the data in the maps.
